Conchiglie Balsamico

If I had to submit a dish for “The Best Thing I Ever Ate” – this would be it! Conchiglie Balsamico. Shell-shaped pasta, heavy cream sauce, asparugus, chicken and a healthy swirl of good-quality balsamic vinegar. Simple, yet an amazing combination of flavors.  I tried to recreate this dish in my own home kitchen, but the experience wasn’t the same. The ambiance of the restaurant (Teresa’s Cafe in Princeton, NJ) adds to the delicious taste. I feel like I’m dining in a cafe somewhere in Europe. Princeton tends to have that feel to it. They also own Witherspoon Bread Company and serve their bread with spice-infused olive oil. I always order their cappuccino (robust, European and smooth)!
