You’ll Need:
Flank Steak
1T olive oil
Flank steak
1 red bell pepper, cut into strips
1 yellow bell pepper, cut into strips
2T soy sauce (I use Tamari b/c it’s stronger)
1 1/2T rice wine vinegar
1T fresh ginger, finely chopped
3 tsp chili garlic sauce
5 green onions, diced
Sesame seeds, a sprinkling for the garnish
Make It:
1. Heat a nonstick skillet on medium-high and add your oil. Add steak and cook for 3 minutes. Add bell peppers and cook for 2 minutes. Transfer the beef mixture to a bowl.
2. Add the soy sauce, vinegar, ginger and chili garlic to the hot pan. Cook for about 1 minute until it thickens up (be careful you don’t burn it). Add the beef mixture back and toss in the onions.
3. Serve on a bed of brown rice and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
