Apple cider is one of the best things about Fall but loaded with sugar, it’s not exactly the best for you. Here’s my version that will build up your immune system, keep you warm and satisfy your apple craving! I always keep a piece of ginger in my freezer so I can grate it into teas, soups or stir fry dishes when the weather changes. It adds a kick of spice but also helps with nausea and colds.
You’ll Need:
2C water
2T raw honey
1T apple cider vinegar
1tsp cinnamon
1tsp cloves
1tsp fresh ginger, grated
1 apple, thinly sliced
1 orange, sliced (keep the peel on)
Make It:
Combine everything in a pot and simmer on medium-high for 15 minutes. If you like it sweeter, add a bit more honey or use pure apple juice instead of water. This is great at clearing up sinuses and helping your cold!! Enjoy! Xoxoxo
