Caffeinated Peanut Butter Chocolate-Chip Snacks?!

I was really excited to start this post because well, 1 – you all know about my obsession with all things coffee…but the main reason?! About a year ago a company had reached out to me to review energy bar coffee things and I had such high hopes. I’m not in the business of throwing shade so I won’t even mention their name. But it was a dissapointment experience to say the least. I hate dry grainy bars – bleh! Everyone has their snack thing, but I could do without them in my life. They were grainy and weird and not to mention huge! If I’m getting caffeine from a bar, I don’t want to sit there for a half hour forcing myself to chomp it down. But I digress. Fast forward to seeing (I think it was a Ciabellaoxo vlog?!) and these Ritual Energy coffee bars were sampled. Let’s take a moment to explain why these score a “10” in my snack/morning coffee book:

:::: Taste = a peanut butter caramel bar, no coffee grit or dryness. Smooth, slightly chewy caramel texture

:::: Bite sized, I can finish them enjoyably

::::Each tiny bite contains 1C coffee, I love my coffee (iced, espresso, cold brewed, all types) and of course it’s fairly easy to make. But there’s days when using feel like A) making a cup only to carry it carrying 20 other things, drink half while I’m driving  and forget the cup in my car letting it sit there for weeks B) stop to get a cup and deal with human interaction to early in the morning or going out of my way and being late somewhere…again. 😬  this is the hastle free way to kickstart my day and I can eat this applying my makeup or keep it in my purse for an emergency energy burst

Ingredients (above): peanuts, dates, organic dark chocolate chips, honey, vanilla extract, caffeine from pure coffee beans. You can take a look at buying them here Ritual Energy I tried the peanut but they have chocolate hazelnut in their lineup as well. I’m curious to know what you think?!

  1. I completely agree with your take on these. I have tried them and have tried the chocolate hazelnut bars too. In a word, awesomeconvenientwherehaveyoubeenallmylife! Seriously, these are so good, convenient, and pure, and a part of my daily routine.

  2. I own a motorcycle dealership and I put them on on the parts counter after trying and being impressed with them myself. The reception to them has been awesome! People love the taste most of all but also the convenience of a quick pick me up!! It’s also great to be able to take a couple on the road for that quick boost on an afternoon ride.
