Evening Primrose: this is hailed as a wonder vitamin for PMS, acne, hair loss and skincare. The oil is high in essential fatty acids — AKA the building blocks for cell membranes and a variety of hormones. It also acts as an anti-inflammatory agent. I was waking up in the morning literally feeling bone tired. My bones hurt, I was dizzy. They say this is a great vitamin for morning bone pain. These are sold on Amazon and I was attracted to them based on all the reviews. Like all vitamins, you just have to remember to take them consistently to feel the results.
5HTP: plant derived, this naturally increases your serotonin levels. I take this at night and have been waking up feeling refreshed instead of miserable and groggy. I tried taking it during the day and it made me SO sleepy. I found the right balance for me was at night with a chamomile tea. This is a quick dissolve tablet in Berry, a nice change from boring capsules. I haven’t been taking it long enough to provide feedback on the appetite control as a benefit, but it has definitely improved my morning mood so far.
Here are some other extras I take: biotin for my hair:::the first time I’ve taken it for over 30 days, I always forget lol and my hair loss has improved!! My hair was falling out in major clumps like “how am I not bald” status type of hair loss, it’s gradually stronger and super shiny, which surprised me BC I swear I took it last year too and it did absolutely nothing). I take ginger for nausea/digestive health. And raspberry ketones and vitamin B gummies for energy. Most of these vitamins have added C and other “dailies” so I have no need to take an extra multi-vitamin.
